Start of the year

This year we are going to be learning about theories and how create a good music video. We have started to look at all different types of music videos and how they make them interesting for the audience and how the music is synced with the voice of the singer. we were given a famous quote from Joe Saltzmen " They now provide pictures for the songs in our heads. Goodbye, imagination... All kids have to do is watch and listen, stare straight ahead. No need to think, to embellish, to create, to image. The electric fix is in" this tell us how much the music industry has changed because it has become more popular and creating a big profit.

we also looked at why a rationale for learning about media with music video. The Key points in the rationale would be:
. Music video is a media form, open to analysis a much as any other, and in many of the same ways, as any other.
. it is popular form worldwide and therefore merits our consideration, even if only to ask.
. There is always something new to look at- the high turnover of music videos means that it is very much a living form.
. It has interesting historical antecedents.
